The rules of the Hong Kong Sixes are unique. Each team has six players, and the match is 5 overs long. In league matches, an over has 6 balls, but in the final, an over has 8 balls. Every fielder (except the wicketkeeper) must bowl one over. Normally, a wide or no-ball gives 1 run, but in this tournament, it gives 2 runs. A batsman must retire after scoring 31 runs but can come back if all other batsmen are out.
