ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 is set to be played in the West Indies and the USA. The most anticipated clash of the tournament between India and Pakistan is scheduled to be played at the newly constructed Nassau Cricket Stadium in New York. The venue was constructed in just 90 days and is expected to be demolished after the T20 World Cup’s conclusion.
Curators from Australia have developed the pitch and outfield. It was reported that drop-in pitches from Adelaide Stadium are used in the New York’s Nassau Cricket Stadium. People are wondering what is the total cost of this structure which is only going to be used just for the T20 World Cup 2024.
Recently, Forbes reported that Nassau Cricket Stadium is made at a cost of US $30 million, which is equivalent to Rs 249.9 Crore. A total of 8 matches are going to be held at this stadium in the group stage. It can accomodate 34,000 people at once. It is not known whether the stadium will also host the knockout matches.
