India Champions Trophy Squad 2025

ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is set to be played in Pakistan from 19 February to 9 March. Top 8 ranked teams in the ODI cricket will take part in the tournament, which is making a return after it was abolished in 2017. Pakistan are the defending champions and India will look to best their arch-rivals in the tournament to lift the Champions Trophy for a third time.

Recently, the Indian team under the leadership of Rohit Sharma won the T20 World Cup in West Indies. Following which, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli decided to step away from the shortest format of the game in international cricket to give a chance to younger generation. However, a lot will depend on these two modern day legends if India wants to win the Champions Trophy.

Gautam Gambhir was recently appointed as the head coach of Indian Cricket Team. However, in his first assignment he failed as India could not win the series against Sri Lanka. He will be excited to win the Champions Trophy for India as the coach. Gambhir’s hard-fought mentality will bring in a lot of surprises when it comes to the squad for the Champions Trophy.
