Hussey was a key player for Australia, helping the team win the 2007 Cricket World Cup, the 2006 and 2009 Champions Trophies. He was the top ODI batsman in the world in 2006. Hussey played for Western Australia, English counties, and the IPL’s Chennai Super Kings. He retired from international cricket in 2012 and later captained Sydney Thunder to a BBL title before retiring from all cricket in 2016.
