Punjab Kings will enter the auction with a purse of 110.5 crore rupees, far more than any other team. If Punjab decides to target Rishabh Pant, it’s unlikely any other team could outbid them. Another key factor is that Punjab Kings are also in need of a captain, and Pant, having previously captained Delhi, might prefer joining a team where he can take on a leadership role.
