Tri-Series Schedule Announced Before Champions Trophy 2025, These Three Teams Will Compete

With less than a month left for the ICC Champions Trophy to begin, all eight teams are eager to finalize their preparations. In this regard, host Pakistan will play a Tri-Series at home against South Africa and New Zealand from February 8 to 14. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced the complete schedule for this series.

Tri-Series Matches to Be Held in Lahore and Karachi

While the Champions Trophy is set to begin on February 19, the Tri-Series will take place from February 8. The matches will be played in two Pakistani cities—Lahore and Karachi. Pakistan has not yet announced its squad for the Champions Trophy, whereas New Zealand and South Africa have already revealed their teams, which will also participate in this Tri-Series. The first two matches of the Tri-Series will be played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, while Karachi will host one group match and the final.

A Great Opportunity for Preparation Before the Champions Trophy

The Champions Trophy matches in Pakistan will be played at venues in Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi, while the Indian team will play its matches in Dubai. This Tri-Series will serve as a crucial preparation opportunity for New Zealand and South Africa, especially for South Africa, which is placed in Group B and will play its Champions Trophy matches in Karachi and Rawalpindi.

Currently, Pakistan is hosting a two-match Test series against the West Indies. After this series, they will participate in the Tri-Series.
