Afghanistan is set to play a home Test match against New Zealand from 9th September 2024 at the Greater Noida Sports Complex Ground in Noida. BCCI has provided a few grounds to the Afghanistan Cricket Team to host home games and practice their skills. New Zealand is set to face India in a Test Series and this one-off Test against Afghanistan will allow them to get acclimatized with the conditions.

AFG vs NZ Test 2024: Greater Noida Sports Complex Ground Pitch Report

Greater Noida Sports Complex Ground in Noida is known for its batting friendly pitch. This will be the first Test match to be played at this venue. In T20s the pitch at the stadium has produced a lot of runs. However, in Test cricket, the venue is expected to get harder to bat on as the time passes. On 4th and 5th day of the Test, the spinners can come create trouble for batters. There won’t be much help for the pacers. All in all, the batters will find it easy to bat for the most part of the game.
