The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially clarified all speculations regarding the logo on Team India’s jersey for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025, starting from February 19. BCCI has confirmed that they will follow all ICC guidelines for the tournament, including the placement of the official ICC logo, which will feature the name of Pakistan as well.
BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia’s Statement
Newly appointed BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia, in an interview with Cricbuzz, stated that India will comply with all ICC regulations. He mentioned that Team India’s jersey will also have the official Champions Trophy 2025 logo, similar to other teams. His statement has put an end to all controversies surrounding the logo on the Indian jersey.
Team India to Play All Matches in Dubai
With the official schedule of the Champions Trophy 2025 released, it has been confirmed that Team India will play all their matches in Dubai. The tournament is set to take place from February 19 to March 9.
- India’s first match: February 20 against Bangladesh
- India vs Pakistan clash: February 23
- India’s final group stage match: March 2 against New Zealand
If India qualifies for the final, the title match will also be played in Dubai.
