DPL Team Smashes 308 Runs in 20 Overs, Ayush and Priyansh Set World Record in T20 Cricket

During the Delhi Premier League match on Saturday between North Delhi Strikers and South Delhi Superstars, several records in T20 cricket history were shattered. South Delhi Superstars, led by Ayush Badoni, posted the second-highest score in T20 cricket history, amassing 308 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs. Both Priyansh Arya and captain Ayush Badoni scored centuries for South Delhi.

Left-handed batsman Priyansh Arya smashed six sixes in a single over during the match at Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium against North Delhi Strikers. The duo of Priyansh Arya and Ayush Badoni forged a massive 286-run partnership, which is now the highest partnership in T20 cricket history.

They displayed explosive batting, hitting all the bowlers for boundaries. Together, they hit 29 sixes, and South Delhi set a new record by hitting a total of 31 sixes in an innings, the most ever in T20 cricket history. Badoni alone smashed 19 sixes, breaking Chris Gayle’s record.

Priyansh Arya played a blistering innings, scoring 120 runs off just 50 balls, including 10 sixes. During his innings, Priyansh achieved the remarkable feat of hitting six sixes in a single over. Badoni scored 165 runs off 55 balls with the help of 19 sixes. Their century-making efforts helped South Delhi Superstars post 308 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs, marking the second-highest score in T20 history.
