India’s Probable T20 Playing XI on Sri Lanka Tour- No Sanju Samson in the Team

Here's who could be in the playing XI of India against Sri Lanka

India's Probable T20 Playing XI on Sri Lanka Tour- No Sanju Samson in the Team

India’s squad for the upcoming Sri Lanka tour has been revealed and surprisingly Suryakumar Yadav has been named instead of Hardik Pandya. Even more surprising is the fact that Shubman Gill has been announced as vice captain and Pandya is going to play solely as a player.

Abhishek Sharma and Ruturaj Gaikwad, the two star performers versus Zimbabwe have missed out. Somehow, Riyan Parag has managed to find a place in both T20 and ODI squad despite a dismal performance against Zimbabwe. Sanju Samson has retained his place but India’s first choice wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant has returned to the mix. This would mean that Samson is going to probably miss out from the playing XI.

Rinku Singh has managed to retain his slot and Shivam Dube has also been selected. Kuldeep Yadav was dropped despite being brilliant for India in the shortest format of the game. Jasprit Bumrah is on rest and Khaleel Ahmed is taking his place.
