Fans are eagerly awaiting IPL 2025, and several updates about the league have already surfaced. A total of 29 cricketers from Uttar Pradesh will participate in IPL 2025, including four players from Lucknow: Dhruv Jurel, Rinku Singh, Yash Garg, and Mohsin Khan. Apart from these four, 25 other players from the state will also be part of the auction.
29 Players from Uttar Pradesh to Feature in IPL 2025
The mega auction for IPL 2025 will include players like Piyush Chawla, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ankit Rajpoot, Sameer Rizvi, and Zeeshan Ansari. Scheduled to take place on November 24 and 25 in Saudi Arabia, the auction will feature 366 Indian and 208 overseas players. Notable names from Uttar Pradesh include Rinku Singh, Kuldeep Yadav, Dhruv Jurel, Yash Dayal, and Mohsin Khan.
Ankit Chatterjee, CEO of the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA), confirmed that 25 players from Uttar Pradesh have been included in the mega auction.
Four Players from Lucknow in the Spotlight
The list includes four players from the state capital, Lucknow: Zeeshan Ansari (24 years), Kritagya Singh (24 years), Vipraj Nigam (20 years), and Naman Tiwari (19 years). Except for Naman Tiwari, the other three have represented Uttar Pradesh in the Ranji Trophy.

It is worth noting that KL Rahul will not be a part of the Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2025.
