Misbehavior with Cricketer Abhishek Sharma at Delhi Airport, Missed Flight

A case of misbehavior with India’s rising star Abhishek Sharma has come to light at Delhi Airport. Abhishek shared the details of the incident and condemned it through his Instagram story on Monday, January 13. He mentioned that due to the ill-treatment by a staff member at Delhi Airport, he missed his flight. Abhishek was on his way for a vacation. It is worth noting that Abhishek Sharma has been selected for the Indian team for the 5-match T20 series starting from January 22.

Sharing the story on Instagram, Abhishek condemned the incident in strong words. The Indian cricketer claimed that he was unnecessarily sent between counters, causing him to miss his flight. He named a specific staff member and called for action.

In his Instagram story, Abhishek Sharma said, “I had the worst experience with Indigo at Delhi Airport, and the behavior of the staff, especially counter manager Sushmita Mittal, was completely unacceptable. I arrived on time at the correct counter, but they unnecessarily sent me to another counter.”

He further wrote, “I was later told that check-in had closed, and as a result, I missed my flight. I only had one day off, which is now completely wasted. To make matters worse, they are not providing any helpful assistance. This has been the worst airline experience and the worst staff management I’ve ever witnessed.”

Abhishek had been leading Punjab in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. He recently played a match against Maharashtra in Vadodara on January 11, where his team lost, and Punjab was eliminated from the tournament. During this tournament, Abhishek was in good form, scoring 467 runs in eight matches, including one century and three half-centuries.
