The Bangladesh cricket team is currently on a tour of Pakistan and is playing a two-match Test series. A shocking news has come out ahead of the third day of the first Test match of the series at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. A murder complaint has been filed against former Bangladesh captain and senior all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan. Shakib is part of Bangladesh’s playing XI in the ongoing Test match in Rawalpindi. There is now suspense over whether former Awami League MP Shakib will be able to play the second Test match of the series in the 12th Parliament of Bangladesh.
According to a report released by the Dhaka Tribune on Friday, the deceased Rubel’s father Rafikul Islam lodged a case at the Adabor Police Station in Dhaka on Thursday. Cricketer Shakib has been made the 28th accused in the case while actor Firdaus Ahmed has been made the 55th accused. Former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Obaidul Quader and 154 others have also been accused in the case. About 400-500 unidentified people are also accused in this case.
Shakib Al Hasan is a famous cricketer of Bangladesh. He has won many matches for the Bangladesh team on his own. He is the highest wicket-taker for Bangladesh in international cricket. He has 704 wickets to his name. According to a reports, he has now been charged in connection with the murder during the protests in Bangladesh in early August. An official of Dhaka police station has registered the case.
Shakib is playing a test match against Pakistan

Awami League was in power in Bangladesh a month ago. Apart from being a star all-rounder, Shakib is an MP of Awami League. He reached Parliament in January this year by winning the election from his hometown Magura. Currently, he is playing a test match in Rawalpindi in Pakistan.

Shakib is accused in murder case
According to reports, Shakib Al Hasan is the 27th or 28th accused in the FIR. Shakib is among the 147 people against whom a murder case has been registered. Rafikul Islam, father of the deceased Mohammad Rubel, has lodged a case in a police station in Dhaka. The FIR states that Rubel was injured in the firing and died in hospital two days later. Shakib was not in Bangladesh on August 5 or at any time during the protests that led to Hasina’s resignation.
He was in Canada at the time and was leading the Bangla Tigers Mississauga in the Global T20 Canada League. Earlier he was in the US, where he participated in the Major Cricket League. After the formation of the interim government in Bangladesh, there have been changes in the Bangladesh Cricket Board as well. The former chief selector has been made the president of the Bangladesh Cricket Board. He has replaced Nazmul Hasan.
