Is this the worst phase in Pakistan cricket?

For the second Test match of the series, Pakistan made changes to their playing XI and the pitch saw significant alterations after much debate, but the result remained largely unchanged. The first day of the match was washed out due to rain. On the second day, Pakistan was bowled out for 274 runs, and in response, Bangladesh was struggling at 26/6. At one point, it seemed Pakistan would avenge their 10-wicket loss in the first Test and defeat Bangladesh comprehensively.

However, Liton Das and Mehidy Hasan Miraz dashed Pakistan’s hopes with a solid partnership. It wasn’t just Bangladesh’s efforts; Pakistan’s poor fielding also played a significant role in allowing Bangladesh to stage a comeback. While it initially appeared that even 50 runs would be difficult for Bangladesh, they managed to score 262 in their first innings. Pakistan was bowled out for just 172 runs in their second innings, leaving Bangladesh with a target of 185 runs for victory.
