She is a right-arm off-break bowler and has also played for the Guyana Amazon Warriors in the Women’s Caribbean Premier League. Patil made her international debut for India in 2023. She started playing cricket at the age of 10, inspired by her father, Rajesh, who runs a cricket academy. After trying different types of bowling, she became an off-spinner. She later moved to a rented place to train at Dev’s academy in Karnataka. Her career took off when she joined Karnataka’s under-16 team.

Shreyanka Patil made her debut for Karnataka’s senior team in October 2019 against Pondicherry, taking 1 wicket for 21 runs in two overs. In November 2022, she impressed with 4 wickets for just 7 runs for South Zone against North East Zone. In January 2023, she scored her first List A half-century with 73 runs against Arunachal Pradesh.
In February 2023, Patil joined Royal Challengers Bangalore for the first Women’s Premier League, where she took 6 wickets in 7 matches. Later, in August 2023, she was signed by Guyana Amazon Warriors for the Women’s Caribbean Premier League, becoming the top wicket-taker with 9 wickets.
