Rain Threat on Reserve Day for T20 World Cup Final- Who Will Win if Rain Washes Away IND vs SA?

The T20 World Cup 2024 final between Team India and South Africa will be held on June 29 at 8:00 PM Indian Standard Time at the Bridgetown, Barbados ground. Both teams have shown strong performances throughout the tournament and have not lost a single match. However, there is a looming threat of rain during the final match.

According to the meteorological report, there is a 78% chance of rain during the day on June 29 in Bridgetown, Barbados. Additionally, strong winds are expected with the possibility of persistent clouds. In the evening, the likelihood of rain increases to 87%.

There is a reserve day scheduled for the final match on June 30, but there is also a risk of rain that day, with a 61% chance during the day and 49% in the evening. Therefore, there doesn’t seem to be a high probability of the match taking place even on the reserve day.

Who Will Win If It Rains During IND vs SA T20 World Cup 2024 Final?

ICC has kept June 30 as a reserve day for the final match between India and South Africa. Initially, every effort will be made to conduct the match on June 29. If for any reason the match cannot be held, it will be played on the reserve day.

The match on the reserve day will resume from where it was halted on June 29. If the match still cannot be played due to rain or any other reason on the reserve day, then both teams will be declared joint winners by ICC.
