The third Test between India and Australia will be played at the Gabba.

Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rohit Sharma

The third Test match between India and Australia is set to begin on December 14, but all is not well in the Indian camp. According to media reports, Rohit Sharma is reportedly upset with Yashasvi Jaiswal due to a mistake made by the young batter. The incident resulted in Jaiswal being left behind at the team hotel. Reports suggest that Jaiswal failed to board the team bus on time, and by the time he arrived, the bus had already departed.

Jaiswal Reached the Airport by Car

When the team bus left the hotel without him, Yashasvi Jaiswal had to arrange for a car to reach the airport. The left-handed batter eventually joined the team and flew from Adelaide to Brisbane with the squad. However, Jaiswal’s tardiness reportedly angered captain Rohit Sharma, as he was expected to be on the team bus by 8:30 AM but arrived late.

Did Rohit Ask to Leave Jaiswal Behind?

Reports from Australia suggest that it was Rohit Sharma himself who instructed the team to leave Jaiswal behind at the hotel. Team India’s flight to Brisbane was scheduled for 10:05 AM, and players began boarding the bus at 8:20 AM. By 8:30 AM, the bus was supposed to leave for the airport, but Jaiswal was not on time.

The bus reportedly waited for a while, after which Rohit got off and spoke with the team manager and liaison officer. Following their discussion, the bus departed without Jaiswal. Later, Jaiswal, accompanied by the team’s security manager, took a car to the airport. It’s unclear whether Jaiswal apologized to Rohit and the team upon reaching the airport.
