In the third T20I match between India and Bangladesh held in Hyderabad, numerous records were broken as India amassed an impressive 297 runs for six wickets in their innings.

Having already clinched the series with a win in New Delhi on Wednesday, India opted to bat first. Although opener Abhishek Sharma was dismissed early, Sanju Samson and Suryakumar Yadav provided a sensational start, achieving India’s joint-highest PowerPlay score in T20 internationals at 83 runs.

Samson later scored his maiden T20I century in just 40 balls, making him the second-fastest Indian to reach this milestone, following Rohit Sharma. Together, the pair set up India’s second-highest second-wicket partnership in T20Is, with a remarkable stand of 173 runs.

Here’s a complete list of the records established during the third T20I between India and Bangladesh:

  • Joint-highest PowerPlay score for India in T20Is: 83/1
  • Second-fastest century in T20Is by an Indian: Sanju Samson off 40 balls
  • Second-highest second-wicket partnership for India in T20Is: 173 runs by Suryakumar Yadav and Sanju Samson
  • Highest team total in T20Is by India: 297/6
  • Highest T20I score by a full-member nation: 297/6
  • Fourth-highest runs scored by an Indian in a single over in T20Is: 30 runs by Sanju Samson off Rishad Hossain
