Hardik Pandya

In the second T20 match between India and Bangladesh on Wednesday, Hardik Pandya pulled off an unbelievable feat that left everyone in shock. His stunning diving catch had everyone in awe. This match, played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, saw the Indian team take a 2-0 lead in the series with a convincing win.

Hardik’s Catch Will Steal Your Heart

India set a massive target of 222 runs for Bangladesh. While chasing, Bangladesh was struggling, and in the 14th over of their innings, Hardik Pandya took a breathtaking catch. On the third ball of Varun Chakravarthy’s over, Rishad Hossain attempted a sweeping shot, sending the ball towards mid-wicket. Hardik sprinted to his left, covering almost 27 meters, and dived to take the catch. Even though the Indian all-rounder fell to the ground after completing the catch, he held onto it without letting it slip.

BCCI Shared the Video

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a video of Hardik’s incredible catch on social media, and fans are pouring in their reactions. India dominated the match, securing an 86-run victory over Bangladesh in Delhi, thanks to the brilliant performances of both the batsmen and bowlers. This victory marked India’s largest win by runs against Bangladesh in T20s. Previously, India’s biggest win against Bangladesh was a 50-run victory during the T20 World Cup earlier this year.

What Happened in the Match?

Batting first, India posted 221/9 in 20 overs, with Nitish Reddy and Rinku Singh both scoring impressive half-centuries. In response, Bangladesh could only manage 135/9 in their allotted overs. India’s win secured an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match T20 series. Earlier, India had also swept Bangladesh 2-0 in the Test series. Nitish Reddy shone with both bat and ball, taking two wickets along with Varun Chakravarthy, who also claimed two. Every Indian bowler picked up a wicket in the match, a rare feat in T20 cricket. Arshdeep Singh, Washington Sundar, Abhishek Sharma, Mayank Yadav, and Riyan Parag each contributed with one wicket, making it the first time seven Indian bowlers took wickets in a T20 match.
